pumpkincest: Sometimes I wonder about the legend of Sam and Dean. I wonder if different creatures and monsters talk about the two boys who devote(d) their lives to hunting and killing them. Or if the people they save tell their children stories of these two brothers who saved them, and those children tell their children and their children tell their children. I wonder what people say about them, and how it all began- a fire in the nursery, or a father madly driven with revenge. Or maybe as the story has been told so many times, Sam and Dean turn out to be monsters in the end. Two men who killed anything they didn’t understand, anything and anyone who were different from them. If in the years to come, children will sit around a campfire and tell these scary stories, stories of two monsters, who killed monsters.
